The Why Knott Dream Big Foundation is registered and organized as a nonprofit corporation with the State of Florida . While we are preparing our documents and application with the IRS requesting official recognition as a federally tax-exempt public benefit organization, we are legally functioning as a nonprofit corporation under section 501 (c) (3) of the federal internal revenue code and the State of Florida. Upon approval, all donations are tax deductible, retroactive to the date of incorporation effective 08 April 2008. Official gift acknowledgments will be mailed upon approval.
